Where I come from this happens to be a landmark...this sign used to tell all the locals what movies would be playing at the Commerce Drive-In, however the Commerce Drive-In has been closed, abandoned and gone for many, many, many years now. I cannot begin to think how many times I have driven by this sign, but not too long ago, as I was driving home from work, I noticed that SOMEBODY had vandalized the sign with "One Life To Live". Was it a high school prank? Was it a terrible form of graffiti? Was it just some idiot trying to get a little attention? Who knows?! What I do know is that someone views this sign as a landmark like I do, because "One Life To Live" is now hardly visible, which I am sure took some vigorous scrubbing and soap suds...and heart. Thank you to whomever took responsibility for this and cleaned up our little landmark :)
